Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2015 Lexus RX 350- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 Lexus RX350, we're gonna be taking a look and showing you how to install the Titan chain alloy snow tire chains, and that's gonna be part number TC2317. The tire size we're working with is 235/55/19. One of the great things about these tire chains is that they're self-tensioning meaning we don't have to pick up any extra parts to make sure our chains stay snug against our tire. It's all contained right here within our tire chains.These chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern, so they're gonna give you more coverage around your tire and they're gonna provide more traction for starts, stops and even turns. This square link chain right here is gonna dig into that snow and ice and provide you with better traction through those rough conditions.The first thing you wanna do before you install these chains is to lay them out flat like this and make sure there's no kinks, twists or tangles in your chain. You also want to make sure that these hooks right here are facing away from the tire so they don't cause any damage. more

One of the big advantages of this chain over others is how easy this is to install. Let me show you how to get them installed.The first thing we want to do, you want to hold your chain up like this, make sure you don't have any kinks or knots in the chains themselves. Then what you're going to do is you're going to take these two red tabs, we're going to push them in, we're going to pull out on this one. You're going to grab each side like this, and you're just going to pull it apart like that.The red is going to be the bottom. more

Keep in mind, we will be installing these on tire size 225/60-18. These are gonna be diamond pattern chains so they're gonna give you more tire coverage. Your chains are gonna be D-link style. You'll notice they are gonna have two flat edges, which are gonna give you more surface contact and they're gonna wear more evenly.Our inner chain is gonna have a coating on it, so it's not gonna be cold to the touch. All the connection parts are gonna be color coded for easier installation. more

Keep in mind, we are going to be installing these on tire size 235/55-R20. It's going to have an H pattern twist-link design. It's going to give you great starts and stops in snow and ice. It's going to be constructed of a low carbon steel, and these are designed for highway use. However, they are not intended for off-road applications.One thing I like about these chains, it's going to have Cams to help maximize the tension while the chain's on the tire. more

On this 2010 RX350, we're going to show you Titan Chains Part #TC1555. For reference, we're working with a tire size of P235x55x19. This is designed for vehicles that have limited clearance between your tires and wheels and components behind wheel and body. This has a bit of a diamond shaped pattern to it as you can see one point here and another point here. It goes back to another point across the tire. If you take a closer look at the links, you'll notice they're not round. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2010 Lexus RX 350- Video
Today on this 2010 Lexus RX350, we're going to show you the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains part number PW1046. For reference, we're working with a tire size of P235 by 55" by 19". You'll notice this is a ladder style chain so they've got bars going all the way across. This is a great snow chain to keep in the back of your vehicle to get yourself out of a jam. These are all DOT compliant as well. You'll also notice there's not much height to them. more
